A: Always talk to your infant's pediatrician before using sunblock for the first time. Your pediatrician knows your child's health best. Sun screen manufacturers suggest waiting until your child is at least 6 months old, but the pediatrician may authorize using it earlier if your child is going to be spending a lot of time outdoors. Always be sure to use sunblock that is specifically made for infants, the higher the SPF, the better. And baby sunblocks are also great for your skin!
